FAQs

  • When you sign up for a guaranteed spot to sing at the karaoke night, you will receive a google form shortly after purchasing your ticket for you to detail what song you want to sing, a link to the karaoke version you want, and if you have any time limitations for the evening so you can be scheduled accordingly. All singers will then receive a schedule doc before the event.

  • We will keep some time during the event for people to sign up to sing on the spot, but it won’t be guaranteed that you will be able to sing, especially earlier in the evening.

  • Nope! The event is open for you to come in and out as you please. If you sign up for a guaranteed spot, please ensure to be there during the hour that you are scheduled to sing.

  • This is your moment to be on stage with lights, sound, and a microphone, so everyone is encouraged to go wild and dress up in whatever way they want. We’ve seen full costumes to match the broadway characters being performed and elaborate makeup, even a quick change on stage! This is of course your choice- dressing up is not required.

  • Yes! There will be four microphones available to set up on stage at once, and if you are coming as a group, only one of you needs to purchase a guaranteed singing spot ticket while the others just need to purchase an attendee ticket.

You can also sign up with a duet and try to find someone to sing with you at the event if you don’t already have someone to sing with you!

Hello theatre lovers! My name is Camille Gribbons and I have been a part of the English language community theatre scene for four years now, involving myself in multiple projects and theatre groups because I just can’t get enough. One thing I learned about myself during these four years is that my passion not only lied in performing myself, but also enabling others to perform. A couple years ago, I was one of the people who started the “It’s Broadway B*tch” broadway karaoke nights run through the Cauldron Performing Arts when I was the chairwoman for the group. These nights always brought me so much joy because not only did they bring in fellow musical theatre lovers from across the country, but they also introduced new members to our growing community. One of the most rewarding things I still hear today is that people auditioned for a show or started getting involved because their intro was through the Broadway Karaoke Nights.

I’ll be turning 30 in January and decided it was time to bring it back, this time as a birthday celebration but also to celebrate the community I’ve put so much work into these past four years. ANYONE can and should sign up to attend - you certainly don’t need to know me to join our fundraiser, get up onstage, and live your star moment singing some Broadway or Disney karaoke while a room filled with people cheers you on!

This event is your (and my) night to be extra - dress up as the character you are singing or just glam up- we’ll have people there to take your picture! If you sign up to sing, you’ll get introduced by the emcee for the evening (me, of course), you’ll get a stage, lights, and a microphone with words projected behind you for you to live your Broadway fantasy. Of course I have to be a LITTLE selfish on my birthday, so I’ll be sprinkling in some performances of my own throughout the evening!

Having been involved as an actress, producer, assistant director, website designer, handling promo and PR, applying for funding, and more- HEA Productions is near and dear to my heart, and all proceeds from the event will go towards sound equipment for the shows for 2025 (Once Upon a Mattress and Heathers).

I hope to see you there to celebrate and I encourage you to take your moment and sign up to sing!

Camille
